TRAVEL GOODS

The Travel Goods Association (TGA) puts on the world’s largest annual trade show. For over 70 years, TGA has been the industry leader for travel good manufacturers and the promotion of travel-related products.

FRUSTRATIONS/CHALLENGES:

When TGA approached us, they had recently finished an iteration of their website they did not like. They had worked with a different web developer who told TGA that parts of their vision (including having a video banner) was not possible. (Which we assured them was very possible.)

In addition, there was no clear call to action on the site, the messaging was confusing, and it wasn’t immediately clear what the Travel Goods Show did. With confusing copy, disjointed images, and no cohesive look, the scale, and size of their trade show were not properly highlighted.

WHAT WE DID:

One of the first things we did was identify TGA’s two different avatars: Exhibitors and Attendees. With these two avatars clearly delineated, we were able to organize the site for two different users and customize the experience for each.

We were able to completely redesign their site providing them with a customized site they love. We also provided copywriting, helped with developing their new brand look, UI/UX design, custom site development, graphic design related to an online catalog, integrated shopping cart, and video editing.

RESULTS:

The new Travel Goods Show site is one they are very proud of. Their site has clear CTAs, is easy to navigate. The site is now better organized reflects the stature of their show. This site has a LOT of pages with a lot of info. We came up with a method to organize a complex site into something that is easy to navigate.
